1699: Indonesia
Named for 1699, when coffee first arrived in Indonesia, this single-origin from Uncharted Coffee Supply comes from the Gayo highlands of Aceh in Sumatra. It's processed using the traditional wet-hull method (Giling Basah) that defines Indonesian coffee: earthy, tobacco-forward, grounded. Fair Trade certified, chemical-free, third-party tested for mold. The volcanic highlands and time-honored processing methods create a coffee that tastes like place and tradition. Light, medium, or dark roast available.
Tasting notes: Earthy, tobacco, brown sugar
