In 1950, Charles Eames designed a tissue-paper kite as a gift: simple form, deliberate palette, the kind of object he and Ray made prolifically. Useful, beautiful, and lighter than it looks.
These cards take their shape and color directly from that kite. Standard 52-card deck. The letterpress-printed box features the Eames House in Pacific Palisades, and carries the note Eames kept above his desk: “Take your pleasure seriously.”
