Stunning piece. Deep crimson body with gilded scrollwork on both cup and saucer, white interior with gold lace border, scalloped saucer with white gold-trimmed medallion.
Royal Grafton was made in Longton, Staffordshire, the center of English fine bone china production for more than a century. Pieces decorated at this level of gilding were made for formal use, not everyday service. Excellent vintage condition.
